The Wool Shop, Wolverhampton is a brand new business and is run by mother and daughter, Ann and Jennifer.
We are both lifetime crafters, who have been knitting and crocheting for more years than either of us care to admit!
It has been a long time ambition to own our own wool shop and in it we hope to offer the kind of service WE want from wool shops - the ability to browse and choose wool and patterns at your leisure; staff who know and care about knitting, and people who will offer advice and help if you need it or leave you to just look, according to what YOU want.

We're happy to offer a free lay-by service which allows you to budget how quickly or slowly you pay for your knitting.

Just ask, we're happy to try and teach you - and we'll even provide you with a FREE starter kit!

We know how hard the credit crunch has been on all our finances. We aim to keep our prices down to make sure crafting continues to be affordable to the smallest pockets. We aim to sell our yarn at the cheapest possible prices - many of our 'normal' prices beat larger retailers 'sale' prices!
For example our 100g double knitting wool starts at only £1.00 a ball while we sell 'Zig Zag' sock wool for an eye-popping £3.75 a ball (plus FREE pattern!) - and it only takes one ball to make a pair of socks!
